Nuka Horvat (1997) is studying for a master’s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana, majoring in Illustration. His comics and illustrations were published by the Slovenian comics magazine Stripburger (2022), Latvian anthology kuš! (2021) and the Czech newspaper FŮD (2021), and he has also designed and edited many of TransAkcija’s zines (transfeminist NGO for support and alliance of transgender people in Slovenia).
He has participated in several group exhibitions, such as Fresh Fish: #unchartedwaters (2020), #dobravaba (2021) and #aquarium(2022) at the DobraVaga Gallery in Ljubljana (Slovenia), S04E02_CRISOLOGY: an applied approach (2021) at the Media Nox Gallery in Maribor (Slovenia), and Pencil Tip (2021) at the Kasarna Karin gallery in Prague. He has been featured at the Tinta festival with zine exhibition Funnel (2020) and solo exhibiton Peach on My Head (2022) in DobraVaga Gallery and at the eMCe Plac gallery with the exhibition Koprene (2022).
